Necco is Japanese cafe bar located in Exmouth Market, that serves a range of Japanese food including sushi, donburi and dessert. The place is casual which makes it a nice place to have lunch or dinner, and the prices at Necco is fairly reasonable.
I found the menu design cute with the stationary tabs which I used in my university days. Those was the days!
We started off with pot of green tea to warm us up in the cold Winter weather. It came served in a nice Japanese tea pot that was made to share for two people.
Then munched on the Soft Shell Crab (1pc – £6.80) before our mains.
For mains I had the Ton-Katsu (Pork) Curry £ 7.80. It was beautifully presented and in a way that felt so Necco and Japanese.
My foodie friend ordered an Eel Don (£12.50). You can also order it in an extra large size for additional charge.
We finish off our meal with dessert and was spoilt with choice. Finally managed to settle on the Green Tea Chiffon Cake and the Green Tea Tiramisu. Both were presented with so much love. Just looking at the presentation of the dessert will make any girl smile.
Necco also does special occasion cakes that can be pre-order in advance.
