The Roux at The Landau has to be a place i have been wanting to visit and finally I can tick it off now. It was a well worth lunch for my day off and to spend on an afternoon catching up with a friend.
I booked on a toptable offer for a 3 course meal that came with a glass of wine. But switched it for a tasty peach juice.
We started our meal with an appertiser before moving on to starter.
For my starter I choice to have the Roast quail, young radishes and pomegranate dressing. A starter I really enjoyed and thought the various ingredients went well together.
Main I had the Roast seabass with squid-ink vinaigrette and seaweed steamed jersey royals. It was a nicely cooked Seabass.
The dessert I choice the Blossom honey parfait with hibiscus sorbet and cinder toffee crunch. This was a great spring/summer dessert.
Then finished the meal with petit fours and chamomile tea.
Not only did the food taste nice but each dish was beautifully presented. The service was as good as the food. A place I would return if there was any other offers.
